Spend the day wandering around the harbour, enjoy lunch by the waterfront or continue exploring the hidden jewel of the Mediterranean.
The beautiful village of Karmi is around 10 minutes away by car and is one of our favourite places for a relaxed afternoon. Set in the foothills of the Kyrenia mountains, its traditional stone houses, winding streets and bougainvillea create a wonderfully peaceful Mediterranean atmosphere.
For history and spectacular views, Bellapais Monastery is well worth visiting. The 13th-century Gothic monastery sits high above Kyrenia and offers beautiful views across the coastline. The surrounding village is also home to charming cafés and restaurants, making it easy to combine sightseeing with a leisurely lunch.
For a more active day, the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring. Kolektif itself also organises seasonal experiences, including guided hikes, yoga, olive harvesting and cooking workshops, giving guests the chance to discover more of the island and its local culture.

Life at Kolektif Suites extends beyond your accommodation, with a range of seasonal experiences designed to connect guests with the island. From April to October, weekly yoga sessions take place in the courtyard, while between November and April, guided hiking experiences explore some of North Cyprus's scenic trails. In October, guests can take part in the annual olive harvest, including olive picking and a visit to a local olive oil mill. Cooking workshops, coffee workshops, pizza nights and summer sunset gatherings also form part of the Kolektif experience.
