Esentepe and Tatlisu are famous for their stunning beaches, traditional restaurants and breath taking beauty. Still retaining much of its traditional charm and unspoilt character, you won’t regret taking some time to venture the villages, pretty mountain trails and exotic sandy bays. The medieval Antiphonitis Church from the 12th century, once the Byzantine monument in the Kyrenia hills, is also an interesting and local site to experience. In addition to this, the long sandy beach of Alagadi, less than 4 miles away, is popular for its loggerhead and green turtles, as the opportunity of watching them hatch still exists!
